“Muttluks” Dog Shoes Protect Fido’s Feet from Snow and Ice
If you enjoy winter-time outdoor activities, then you no doubt like to share them with your four-legged friends. If your dog is like mine, then a snowy trail is one great big adventure.
You may think that because your dog has a nice fur coat, he won’t get cold in the winter. This might be true (though breeds like greyhounds and vizslas, which have short one-layered fur coats, can be a different story), but Fido’s paws might still trouble him. If you’ve noticed your dog limping or licking at his paws when you’ve had him out on a snowy or icy trail, it may be that ice is clumping in the fur between his toes and creating discomfort for him. If this is the case, a pair of dog shoes or dog boots might be helpful.
Muttluks might be just the answer.
The vibrant booties shown here have a lot of great features such as quick drying cuffs, inner fleece lining to keep paws warm, self-tightening loops to make it easy to get them on doggie feet, and water proof fabric to keep ice and water from getting in to bother your pooch’s paws.
The boots come in several stylish colors too so you can find something that matches your dog’s fur nicely!
