If you’re big into hunting with your dog, you may want to take the pup off road to get to the great areas where a car just can’t reach. An ATV can be perfect, but unless you want to ride with Fido in your lap, there may not have been a good spot for him to travel. Until now…
Now you can get sturdy custom-built dog crates that are specifically designed for your off-road vehicle.
Check out this crate which was made to fit an ATV.
It’s the work of Kustom Krates who say, “We contain ‘em, so you can train ‘em.” Their heavy duty aluminum crates are designed to latch just like car doors, so there’s no way Fido is going to fall out when you’re chugging up a mountain. Latches and hinges are stainless steel, so they won’t rust in the rain.
Check out the website for more examples of work they’ve done, or browse online for lots of great dog crate ideas.

Tired of spending all that money taking your dog to the groomer for a bath and nail trimming? Well maybe you could do it all at home. There are plenty of pet shampoos on the market, and now it might even be easy to trim your pet’s nails.
Check out the Dremel Cordless Pet Nail Grooming Rotary Tool.
Yes, indeed, that’s a power tool just for trimming nails.
If it’s not too loud, I could see my dog standing up for this better than the clippers. Though the clippers are quick, it’s easy to hit the quick on a dog with dark nails. With this, it ought to be easier to shave off the nails incrementally and avoid nicking the quick.
But I don’t know–what do you think? Is a power tool for trimming dog nails a little too much?
You can pick up this one for about $30 from Amazon, so it’s not any more than a single trip to the groomer’s. If you’re interested, click the link below:

Looking for a new dog collar for your four-legged pal? Why not get one that features your dog’s breed?
These cute dog collars from “Helping Udders” are adorned with little doggie images. They’ve even got some of the less common breeds.
And by purchasing a collar, you’ll be helping the breed rescue organization of your choice, as the company has donated thousands of dollars since going online in 2004. If you’re not looking to get a new collar, check out the site anyway, as they have lots of other dog-related goodies.

You love your cat, but you do not love your cat’s litter box. It’s an age old story. (Okay, litter boxes have only been around since the 20th century, but it’s at least a several-decades-old story.)
How to hide that pesky litter box?
There are actually lots of funky litter box ideas out there, but this one may be my favorite:
The Potted Plant Hidden Cat Litter Box
Where’s the box? Why, under the plant of course!
“The litter box to humans looks like a planter when turned around towards the corner of the wall. Your pets will be able to crawl inside the base of the planter and use it as a litterbox with great privacy. The base can also be lined with bedding to use as a pet bed instead. Vented design and filter controls dust and odor! Comes complete with plant, filter and moss just add litter.”
Currently on sale for $70 through Amazon:

Those “Beware of Dog” signs you see in some yards always seem so unfriendly. It’s good to warn the mailman and visitors that you have a couple of dobermans roaming the premises, but do you really want to appear as the standoffish neighbor on the block? This warning sign has a message that’s a bit more fun (but still gets the point across):
“Ring bell and run… our dog needs exercise.”
Made by a seller on Etsy, the signs are custom crafted, so you can get whatever message you want. “This one of a kind cute beware of dog signs Is a more decorative way to warn strangers of your security system. I will make to order allow one week.”
I like that one though, and at $25 it’s not a costly house accessory.
