Backpacks for Dogs
Taking your dog for a hike is great exercise (for both of you), and he or she will doubtlessly love the chance to sniff everything along the trail.
Whether you’re camping overnight or just going for a day hike, it’s important to take basic supplies with you when you hike, including water, munchies, first aid supplies, etc. If you don’t want to be carrying water for both you and Fido, put him to work with his own backpack.

What if you’re not big into hiking?
Also, if you’ve ever seen the show Dog Whisperer, you know that Caesar advocates giving dogs lots of exercises (so they don’t get bored and start destroying things around the house when you’re at work!). Even if you’re just taking the dogs out for a daily walk around the neighborhood, you can help tire them out by giving them a dog backpack to wear. Put a bit of weight in it and they’ll get more of a workout. A tired dog is a good dog!
