The Stick, Sometimes Simple Dog Toys Work Best
If you have pets (or kids) you’ve probably experienced the dubious joy of purchasing a fancy, expensive toy and watching them have a great time playing with… the box.
Sometimes the simple toys are the best. I don’t know what your dog likes, but my guy is just as happy with a stick I pick up off the ground. He’ll fetch it from the water but his favorite game is playing keep away with it. That means “The Stick” would probably be a hit with him.

This looks like a much safer alternative for dogs who like the way a stick bounces. During Dennis’s “big adventure in the country” we found out he likes to chase those weighted fabric pool toys, so he would probably get a kick out of these things too.
